The Sports Mill

Details

Father and son team Jody and Hunter Millsap are transforming a warehouse at 600 East Market in downtown Kingsport, Tennessee into The Sports Mill. The new bar, scheduled to open in late November 2020, will feature two high-definition sports simulators.

The 13 by 10 foot simulator screens include professional grade nylon turf to a spacious depth of 19’, stereo surround sound, computer vision ball tracking systems, and more for a realistic, high-immersion experience that will be a hit with everyone—from the beginner who is just having fun to the aspiring professional perfecting their skills.

Simulator choices include more than 30 sports—with professional golf courses and training scenarios; classic sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, football; carnival games; hunting simulations; and even alien or zombie survival games. Players can try out as many sports as they like during their reserved time—total control of sports selection, difficulty, and activity features are individually customizable.

The Sports Mill bar serves domestic and craft beers on tap, seltzers, food—and the vintage slushie machine from the Wallace News Stand for a little bit of Kingsport nostalgia.

The Sports Mill is designed for guests of all ages and is an excellent family or group activity. Guests can sign up for simulator time by calling 423-323-3035 or using the online form. There is plenty of room for spectators, too. Enjoy a lounge area with sports-tuned TVs, corn hole setups, and other games—and an outdoor patio space. All that, added to the fun of watching others use the simulators, means there’s plenty to keep everyone busy and having fun.
