DKA’s Downtown Kingsport Facade Improvement Grant is now open for application submissions. This is a matching grant program funded by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the Tennessee Main Street program. The grant objective is to provide incentives to improve the facades of commercial buildings within the Downtown Redevelopment District in downtown Kingsport. Approximately $265,000 is available for general facade improvements and $15,00 for minor facade improvements. Grant project types are: General Facade Improvements-Max of $50,000 Minor Facade Improvements-Max of $2,000.
